On Saturday, October 5th 2019, the SOMA Brewing Company in partnership with the Maplewood Office of Cultural Affairs and Pollock Properties Group of Keller Williams will be hosting a fun-filled family-friendly event including live music, delicious food, craft beer, arts and crafts, and much much more! Entrance to the event is FREE! Food and alcohol will be available for purchase. Cash & credit cards will be accepted.
The Oktoberfest runs from 12pm-8pm and ALL PROCEEDS will benefit the Vanessa Pollock Music Initiative in conjunction with The Achieve Foundation 🏫 ✏️ 🎶

Event Beneficiary
This event will benefit the Vanessa Pollock Music Fund of the Achieve Foundation. The money raised will provide new instruments and equipment for our children in the SOMA Schools.
The Achieve Foundation of South Orange & Maplewood raises funds to promote exemplary public education for all students and educators in our community. Over the past two decades, Achieve has raised more than $4 million for local schools, awarded 1,000+ teacher and administrator grants, facilitated tutoring for 3,000+ students, inspired creativity through a free community Maker Madness fair, fostered music education through the Vanessa Pollock Music Initiative and the Ted Cole Clarinet Program (in the planning stages), and spearheaded a restoration of the Columbia High School auditorium.
